Deathscape immerses the audience in soundscapes transmitted by forensic archaeologists during the exhumation of mass graves in Spain that hold the bodies of those executed by the authoritarian Franco-regime.

More than one hundred thousand men and women ‘disappeared’ during the Franco regime from the time of the 1936-1939 Spanish Civil War until his death in 1975, and around 2,000 mass burial sites are spread across Spanish landscapes today.
